Dynamic, bright and enveloping. The renovation of a now obsolete space reinvents a living path in a modern and chic way.
A house of light and extra large spaces for a young couple that loves modernity, chromatic freshness and customization made of practical and usable elements, touched by elegance and design. An attic, with a panoramic view of the city of Brescia through windows and terraces that frame the landscape and allow light to enter in abundance by expanding the volumes. The architects Paolo Bussi and Elisabetta Piotti of BP Laboratorio di Architettura, oversaw the renovation of these spaces, completely revised and updated on the needs of the clients.
The result is readable through the linearity of the project which sees a large open space with the three fundamental parts of the living that relate to each other. In sequence, beyond the entrance, the living room enjoys a large area equipped with a large sofa overlooking the TV area. On the sides, the custom-designed kitchen, with a peninsula that also serves as a snack area, and a dining area with a design table and chairs, essential and modern, like all the furnishings in the home. The sleeping area is accessed through a corridor that serves as a junction with the master bedroom, complete with a private bathroom.
The colors and the style remain coherent throughout the living path characterized by a clear chromatic delicacy, brushstroke only at times by a note of intense color and character that places choreographic accents in the various points of the house. The play of proportions between the volumes, the materials used and the lighting designed ad hoc is excellent. To standardize the settings there is also the modern and technological Oak-effect laminate flooring which, in addition to ensuring a warm and pleasant aesthetic result, is solid and easy to maintain. Comfort and functionality are the basis of this project where the Architects have been able to make the most of every corner and transform the attic ceilings into pleasant declinations that welcome a custom-designed furniture and accentuate the feeling of embracing and welcoming.
