This is a project not only about love for one's homeland, but also a tribute to the ancestors and memory to them. A project in which modern meets centuries-old traditions. Everything unusual always has its own background.

The beginning of the history of the project was laid by the great-grandfather of my clients, who planted a family oak. This noble tree has been growing for almost three generations, when one day it was struck by lightning. They could not save the tree, but they managed to save almost the cube of the oak. The surviving cube became the center of  inspiration around which the project was created.

The idea came up to extend the life of the family oak as a dining table, as a symbol of the family circle. The effect was strengthened by the national ornament in the center of the tabletop, which means the memory of ancestors. Thus, ornaments have become a thin thread that tightly connects modernity with history.
