Design Intent
The design intent was to create interiors that resonated with potential discerning guests as a home away from home. What was unique for us is that we had to complete this project from existing stock in a matter of weeks. Every element from loose furniture to art to cutlery were all carefully considered. We started with two apartments (named Harry & Franklin) that lacked soul despite having just been completed, lighting fixtures were an afterthought, but the building is spectacular, very New York. What appeals to us now is that both apartments are warm, individual in style, inviting with a timeless aesthetic. There might be some additions to come…a stylist is never happy!

Various Articolo Lighting collections are featured throughout this superbly designed Melbourne private apartment by The Specified. Articolo was featured in the Harry Apartment and The Penthouse Apartment of The Thomas.
The design intent, as stated by The Specified, was to create interiors that resonated with potential discerning guests as a home away from home. What was unique is that The Specified had to complete this project from existing stock in a matter of weeks. Every element from loose furniture to art to cutlery were all carefully considered, and Articolo Lighting completes this design. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Lumi is timeless in its refined elegance and simplicity of form, its distinctive design characterized by one mouthblown glass vessel cocooned in the other. Together, the vessels express feminine fluidity of form while celebrating the subtle striations found in organic mouthblown glass. The Lumi Collection is featured in the Harry Apartment and the Penthouse Apartment.
Moni is an innovative yet astute collection, its monochromatic palette softened by a gentle, fluid form that is perfectly complemented in proportion and balance. The white dipped coloured shades add further dynamic, pairing the weightlessness of artisanal mouthblown glass with an opaque quality. Moni is featured in the Penthouse Apartment.
The Penthouse Apartment also features the Articolo Fizi Collection, Domi Collection, Scandal Collection and Scandi Collection.
