Aluform FalzRipp® is a high-quality aluminum standing seam system which is suitable for waterproofing both roofs and facades. It is ideal for use as a watertight covering for facades and roofs thanks to the zipped connection of the individual sheets and the fact that the sheets are supplied in one length without transverse overlaps. Therefore, this standing seam system is also suitable for roofs with a low pitch.
FalzRipp® consists of trough-like profile panels. The flanges on the upright segments are shaped for a force-fit connection between the profile panels, so
that they can be fastened to the substructure without penetrating them. The variety of profile widths and heights makes it possible to offer an optimum selection for any design, which meet a wide range of load-bearing and usage requirements.
Fire ratings
The profile panels are rated as A1 non-flammable building materials. They are resistant to flying sparks and radiant heat in compliance with DIN 4102-4 and
classed as hard roofing. This also applies in connection with insulation materials on the lower side.
Fastening
The standing seam sheets are simply mounted on aluminium or thermoclips, which means that the sheets do not need to be punctured. This method of fastening allows for linear expansion and contraction can take place unhindered and extremely long sheet lengths (up to 100 m1) can be produced, which prevents the need for a transverse overlap. In addition, the standing seam is vapor permeable.
Shape options
The FalzRipp® standing seam sheets can also be supplied pre-curved, convex, or concave, as well as in a conical shape therefore a wide range of roof and facade shapes can be realized.

The product is manufactured in several profile widths and heights. This enables optimum selection in terms of architectural design options, as well as load-bearing and usage requirements.
The standing seam profiles are non-flammable and very light, which also makes them ideal for renovating roofs with support structures with a low load-bearing
capacity.
The FalzRipp® profile range can be produced at the construction site using a mobile fleet of roll forming machines, which can be used worldwide. This means that profile lengths of over 100 metres can be produced easily and without interim joints.
