Tito1 Apartment

The 187 m² Apartment highlights the kitchen as one of the main spaces in the social area. With interior architecture designed by architect Pietro Terlizzi, the kitchen extends onto the balcony and promotes a smart redistribution of the entire floor plan.

Located in Vila Romana, in the western zone of São Paulo city (Brazil), the project focused on studying solutions meticulously crafted to provide not only a very generous and well-utilized social area but also to connect the apartment with practicality and choices that give it a sophisticated aesthetic. As an ode to contemporaneity, the carpentry and freestanding furniture display delicate and modern forms that contribute to this up-to-date and timeless atmosphere, conceived within a chromatic palette that highlights the neutrality of wood and nuances of gray and blue.

A kitchen where no one complains about tight spaces: by expanding into the area where one of the property's balconies originally stood, the Neolith countertop wraps around the stove and provides ample space for food preparation and kitchen equipment handling. The carpentry also leaves nothing to be desired with the large cabinets under the countertop and the structure surrounding the refrigerator and the hot tower. In utilizing the layout, it was also possible to include a breakfast nook, with the table extending from the large central niche of the cabinets, and an eye-catching glass cabinet.

The island sofa was the key element in compartmentalizing and exploring the living room in two moments: on one side, a living area focused on socializing and the pleasure of entertaining guests, and on the other, the face of the furniture is turned towards carpentry that covers the entire wall with the TV stand, TV panel, and niches that housed a careful selection of decorative objects and the wine cellar. To outline the decorative proposal, the rugs, in their plain and striped versions, were responsible for marking and drawing the imaginary 'boundaries' of each space.

In the dining room, the light wood sets the tone with the furniture layout. Taking center stage in the room, the generous wooden table is accompanied by 8 chairs that highlight the naturalness of the cane used in the backrest. Next to the entrance, a wooden bench - with niches and a trunk to accommodate shoes - and a graceful panel with hooks adorn the space that accommodates the personal items of the residents and their visitors.

With the joy of having not just one – but two balconies! – next to the living room, the couple has their gourmet balcony structure available. In this space, the 'L'-shaped countertop, complemented by well-optimized carpentry, accommodates the distribution that includes the barbecue grill, sink, and an area for food preparation and handling. The perception of a more countryside atmosphere is easily noticed through the lepri ceramic floor and the style of the table with chairs.
