For the design concept “Digital Future Of Nusantara” for the BDx Office in Jakarta, the designer wanted to combine a dynamic and modern office, with a touch of Indonesia culture heritage.

Indonesia is very rich and diverse in culture, yet encompasses more than 300 ethnic groups and cultures, with dozens of languages, and different social and cultural backgrounds.

With this rich culture, the Designer applies patterns, shapes, and cultural elements in office design. There are several patterns of traditional Indonesian fabrics applied such as Tenun Tanimbar from Maluku, Ulos from West Sumatra and Songket Pucuk Rebuang from Palembang.

The selection of the Javanese antique chair, batik patterned fabric to cushion covers, roster as a room partition,

rattan chairs and rattan lamp also applied to add a more local and traditional feel.
