The British Chamber Of Commerce In Belgium is a large premises situated in the heart of Brussels' commercial sector. The organization aims to provide an open and informal environment for businesses to meet and engage with their peers, key decision-makers and other stakeholders.

Sophie Green Interior Architecture was tasked with renovating and redesigning the space to facilitate these aims - creating a business center and developing the virtual office provision - while also providing an aesthetic and modern decor that successfully communicated the brand. A hot-desking space and awards display area were created and the reception area was formalized along with refurbishment of the existing reception desk. Business development and networking opportunities were maximized with a mixture of formal and more casual seating choices and - retaining the flexibility of the large floorplan - use of different furniture/lighting to delineate different areas, and darker color zones to create more intimate spaces. The office was redecorated throughout and finally the interior concept was unified with the design and commission of a new flooring mosaic that echoes key brand colors.

The result is a modern, light and open environment which will encourage the collaboration and communication that is the mission of the British Chamber Of Commerce In Belgium.
