The wide, regular floor plan and the large glazed surfaces—an inheritance from the building’s former productive function—ensure a rational distribution of spaces and abundant natural light. The living area, oriented to the south-east, is conceived as an open and fluid environment, while the sleeping area is more intimate and private. A central element, represented by a column clad in fluted panels, acts as both a visual and spatial focal point of the house.

The spaces are fluid, designed to ensure continuity and freedom of movement. Rooms can be separated according to different needs thanks to movable partitions, glass walls, and custom-designed sliding panels that disappear into the walls.

The living area unfolds as a continuum of spaces illuminated by three large windows. At the far end, the kitchen stands out for its strong visual impact. Burgundy surfaces are paired with an island featuring a white terrazzo worktop, while a brushed stainless-steel counter is set against a large wall clad in glossy white tiles with a low-relief geometric pattern. A fully opening transparent glass wall separates the kitchen from the living room while maintaining a visual connection.

Careful design has devoted ample space to storage: built-in wardrobes integrated into butter-colored walls define the central spine of the house and provide generous capacity without weighing down the clarity of the interiors. The French herringbone oak flooring unifies the spaces, adding warmth and continuity throughout the home. At the entrance, the wardrobe is concealed behind geometric doors clad in wallpaper. An oak portal leads to a flexible space, intended as a study but easily transformable into a guest room or play area thanks to a custom folding wall.

The sleeping area is characterized by an intimate and elegant atmosphere. The master suite, separated by sliding fabric panels, includes a private bathroom where parquet and midnight-blue resin interact with terrazzo finishes and a saffron-colored freestanding sink. The children’s bedroom is bright and welcoming, defined by peach tones and playful details.

The second bathroom is conceived as a monomaterial space, clad in light terrazzo with aggregates in shades of green and caramel. Minimalist furnishings—the curved wood and Vienna straw vanity unit and reeded glass—define an elegant and distinctive environment.
