The Casa Essência project, located in Alphaville, Caruaru-PE, and completed in 2022, is founded on the concept of Absolute Spatial Fluidity and a rigorous Contemporary Volumetric Composition. The façade materialises the concept through an interplay of superimposed cubes and rectangles, creating a dynamic visual rhythm. The exterior palette is sober, employing large panels in shades of charcoal grey and white to convey solidity and timelessness. This formal rigidity is elegantly broken by a warm timber entrance portico, which frames the door and serves as a point of strong contrast. The duality of textures on the façade highlights the contrast between volumes in graphite and marmoreal panels, creating a striking identity.
Internally, the programme's definition follows a clear functional logic, freeing the ground floor to function as a large integrated social pavilion. The open-plan design showcases this fluidity, connecting the living room, gourmet kitchen, and pool in a single, continuous gesture.
This integration is enhanced by the use of large full-glass planes and ample fenestrations, which dissolve the boundaries between the interior and exterior, guaranteeing abundant natural light and enhancing conviviality.
The central scenic element of the project is the sculptural helical staircase, clad in white marble and protected by glass balustrades, which stands prominently in the double-height hall as a piece of art that lends movement and lightness. The gourmet kitchen, in turn, complements the sensory atmosphere with custom joinery, soft lighting, and sophisticated furnishings.
