The RD House, located in a residential condominium in São Leopoldo, metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, was designed and executed by J.A. Becker Architecture.

The residence was designed taking into consideration the characteristics of the 530m² plot, which has a slope and a trapezoidal shape, as well as the demands of the family, composed of a young couple and their two young children, climatic conditions, and solar orientation.

With a total area of 477.20m² distributed over three floors, the RD House features a lower level that houses a garage for three vehicles, as well as a storage room and access to the other floors. On the ground floor, there are the social and service areas, as well as the office. 

The double-height ceiling in the social area stands out, providing a greater sense of spaciousness and natural light utilization. The integration between the living room and the gourmet space is made possible by sliding doors that allow for full opening or isolation as desired.

On the upper level are the three suites, ensuring privacy and comfort for the residents, guaranteeing moments of tranquility and rest.

The facade of the residence stands out for its use of exposed concrete and moledo stone, giving it a timeless aesthetic and establishing a visual connection with the interior of the house. In addition to these elements, we also highlight the natural wood entrance door framed by a glass, as well as the wooden panels and a generous metal pergola that covers the office balcony.

The landscaping project of RD House was developed with the selection of low-maintenance tropical plants adapted to the local climate. These species contribute to a harmonious and easy-care landscaping.

In summary, RD House is an example of an architectural project that combines functionality, aesthetics, and integration with its surroundings. Attention to detail, intelligent use of the plot, and choice of materials give the residence a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere.
