Conception , manufacture and installation of lightweight mirror ceiling frames
Situated on the site of the former Zebra Square, the exceptional 430 square metre space has been entirely redesigned by the architect Olivier Delannoy of the REINH agency, who has already created the chic and uncluttered design of Daroco Bourse. While the iconic mirrored ceilings are still there, the place has found its own identity by combining a harmonious mix of materials (Brass, Corten Steel, Granite) with a huge blue fresco signed by the tattoo artist Supakitch.
We wished to take the statutory character of the building out of its complexes and give the existing place back the letters of nobility of its postmodern vocabulary. Tend the curves, reveal the oblique volumes with the colour Klein blue, tint the atmosphere with light, make the materials on the ceiling dance", explains Olivier Delannoy. To do this, the ceiling was covered with mirrors in the shape of diamond points, and a huge fresco by Supakitch, an artist who had already worked on the Daroco in the 2nd arrondissement , now sublimes a partof the wall.
