This project involved a strategic recalibration of a small post-war home, that had been in the family for two generations. The design centres around a new primary living pavilion that modestly, but poetically engages inhabitants with the landscape. A modest but crafted palette of materials, including brick and timber define the new post-war architecture. Our clients uncompromising values have been demonstrated through a profound understanding of quality over quantity, which is manifested in the intimate, comfortable and relaxed cottage they now call home.
