One-stop Basic Teaching Campus within the New District
This project is located at the core of Zhengdong New District of Zhengzhou. The site is divided into three parts by city roads. The total construction area is 298,000 square meters, which is a one-stop basic teaching campus from kindergarten to high school education.
Overall Cognitive System of Dispersed Plots
By means of common elements refining and combing, integrating spatial modes, architectural language, main material, color style, isomorphic and intertext sign space along the school gate, and so on, the school’s holistic psychological cognition system in dispersed plots is established, breaking the seperation of the road to the spatial pattern.
Sequential Space Order
The campus planning adopts a space sequence leading by a nesting form of "Plaza-Corridor" (flyover) -Yard ", generating a classical space axis and passing system in series, so that the scattered three plots could have the same space rhyme, together integrating into a unified campus environment.
Familiar and Unfamiliar Architectural Style
The architectural image is based on the theme of developing the Red District style of Tsinghua University and reflecting contemporary middle schools teaching philosophy. On the basis of analyzing the traditional architectural style of Tsinghua University, the representative elements are extracted for image transformation. By studying different masonry methods based on traditional red bricks, as well as the combination of red bricks with other materials, a campus in the new era with the same origin as Tsinghua University is generated.
Time-sharing Mechanism
In the planning, the outdoor sports field, indoor gymnasium, auditorium, etc. suitable to open to the public, are arranged nearby municipal road, so that these venues, on the premise of meeting the requirements of school teaching, are open to the society at the wrong time, supplementing and enhancing the urban function of Zhengdong New District.
