The meaning of architecture is difficult to define. My personal view is that the magic and uniqueness of architecture lies in the fact that it toggles between the definitions of art, science and technology and it doesn’t exist when it stays just on paper. Through this philosophy, the group of Zeropixel Architects was created, connecting the office with the construction site, the design with the construction, the architect with the constructor. Our main objective is the design and construction of residences, targeted to the people who will experience the residences/space and the environment. Our goal is to improve the quality of their lives. This is a particularly important, creative and pleasant process. We get to know these people, see how they think, how they live, how they like to move in space, as well as the little things that please them and how their needs might change in the future. The process of drawing their dream home on paper and then to see it materialize is something unique. Αrchitecture is approached by us through pure and simple forms and our designs are both modern and timeless, characterized by their functionality, ergonomics, and the application of modern engineering technologies. We avoid purely passion-driven designs that result in costly constructions. Respecting the economic framework and taking advantage of the unique climate of Greece, we design green buildings with low energy footprint. We connect the indoor and outdoor spaces, encouraging an outdoor lifestyle for the residents. Large openings and moving glass surfaces, atriums and perforated ceilings, allow for interesting lighting patterns in space, as well as the natural air conditioning of buildings. Materials and textures combine harmoniously to stimulate the user. For us, every building is a work of art. That brings added value to the investment of the owners. We enjoy and feel proud of our work. We design unique homes, for unique people
