This project challenged us to design a duplex in New York City that could comfortably accommodate a family of eight. Our approach centered on optimizing space, creating compact yet comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, while maintaining an open, airy feel in the common areas. The design includes a visually uninterrupted two-story loft, seamlessly connected by a cantilevered open staircase, balancing both functionality and a sense of spaciousness.
