A residential complex with a total of 45 residential units was built at Fontanastraße 1. The residential building is divided into a one- to two-story base, with a ten-story tower on top. The central entrance is positioned next to a continuous walkway in the south-western area. A central courtyard is inserted into the base to provide a gathering place for the residents of the building. A community room and laundry room are directly connected to it. From here there is a connection to the small children's playground with adjacent green space in the eastern area of the building site.
The apartments in the tower are accessed via a compact four-flight staircase. All apartments in the tower are oriented across corners and have at least two-sided lighting. The balconies and loggias are located at the corners and offer views to two directions each. The optimization of the apartment floor plans causes a high suitability for everyday use - large kitchen/living rooms allow multifunctional usable areas.
In the planning, great importance was attached to cost-effective construction with the aim of affordable rents. This is reflected in the compact and economical floor plans. On the one hand, they ensure the furnishing with customary furniture, on the other hand, non-functional necessary additions are abandoned.
