The transformation of the MaE residence aims to offer a welcoming and relaxing place so that its occupants can experience urbanity while preserving the sensitive qualities of the house and its environment. Receive, meet with friends, but also be a homebody, rest, take refuge, read a book, snuggle up, recharge your batteries, find yourself. Attention focused on a sensitive atmosphere linked to the individual's experience and his daily life: a counterweight to the speed, tumult and dispossession of the present time imposed by contemporary urban life.

The space develops meticulously over the course by a work in hollow where the open area which is gradually revealed, elusive at a single glance. The materials of the original house found during the work such as the concrete block, the brick and the wooden planks were highlighted for their texture and sensoriality, in contrast to the smooth and standardizing Placoplâtre.
The facade, interface with the street, has been renovated while honoring the original composition: the orange glazed brick has been recovered and then renewed, the wooden corbels of the balconies have been redone while the slate and the metal cornice have been revived by local craftsmen.
