The project for the insurance office is thought as a set design space.
The rectangular space is defined by the customized walls with the work called “ geometric abstract “ made by the Italian artist Rashid Uri:
“...an infinite number of freehand traced lines on paper set up the background for the two monochromatic oil paintings.
36 photocopied drawings with a definite framework has been fixed generating a text:
an abstract idiom which its punctuation is given by the painting...”
The welcome board, in the center of the room placed, is the regulating element of the space. Made by a birch multiple layers and black varnished wood, its shape gives a feeling of solidity as though as a element deepseated on the floor.
On the deep end wall the work of the photographer Sergio Camplone stand out. The two pictures, “ Compendium of an incomplete landscape “ and “ Brothers ” describe entirely the research about the relationship between the altered shapes of the territories made by the man and his capability to transform it and be part of the landscape itself.
A specific focusing on the identity of that places in a progressive change and transformation. The architect, giving to the central space a welcoming feature in order to keep the clients pleasantly, does not go for a mere garnish project but leaves to the artist the scene.
