Located in the centre of Meda, a town in the Province of Monza and Brianza renowned for its long-standing tradition of furniture manufacturing and home to some of the world's leading product design companies, this project by R2+ involves the complete renovation and interior design of a spacious private apartment.

The residence is arranged on a single level and comprises a generous, naturally lit open-plan living and dining area, an independent kitchen that remains visually connected to the living space through a large glazed partition, and a well-defined sleeping area featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The cultural context of Meda—an internationally recognised centre of Italian design excellence—strongly influenced the project's design approach, particularly in the selection of furnishings and bespoke elements distinguished by clean, contemporary lines and a minimalist aesthetic.

To enhance the presence of these carefully curated pieces, the interiors were conceived around a restrained palette of neutral colours and refined materials, creating a calm architectural backdrop that allows each object to stand out while contributing to a cohesive and elegant domestic environment.
