De Rigo is one of Italy's leading manufacturers of luxury eyewear and accessories, with offices throughout the world. Metagram was commissioned to design a new location office for the company in Kwai Fong, Hong Kong.
As a company that primarily serves eyewear retailers, our brief was to design an office with retail level show and board rooms.
The design is minimalist, featuring full height glass door and partitions, capitalizing on the building's high ceilings. Spaces are oriented toward the panoramic district views and are drenched in natural daylight. A warm color palette of taupe hues and oak timber veneer ensure maximum light reflectivity while creating a surreal ambience.
The program included a showroom, boardroom, four private offices, an open plan seating area, and at the heart, a wonderful communal lunch room for staff to meet or gather.
