The space presented by the office rescues the human ties of affection and coziness
‘I don’t need a chair, I don’t need a sofa, I only need you siting in the living room’, already said Arnaldo Antunes in the verses and stanzas of the song ‘A Casa é Sua’. Inspired and guided by the essence and nature that those words emanate, Bruno Carvalho e Camila Avelar, thinking minds behind BC Architects success, newcomer office in CASACOR São Paulo, presents the ‘Home Family’, a 62m² room, multifunctional, that prizes the reencounter of affection relations, in a humanized way, where the coziness and comfort are premises.
With the ‘Casa Viva’ (Live House) concept, theme for this year event, that happens from May 22th to July 29, in the Jockey Club of São Paulo, the professionals created a space that includes a library, a wine cellar and a living room, where the art stands out with a poetic and delicate narrative, that search for the rescue of the men’s origins and for the approximation of people, regardless social class, gender, birth or religion. Works by Nazareno, Afonso Tostes, Patricia Bigarelli and Denilson Machado, helps the construction of such prose in a succinct and dazzling way.
Aiming transmit thus cozy essence, the wood work, the office’s trademark, presents itself as one of the main elements and do a mixture with the color pallet that goes from blue, pink, to a mustard tone, conceiving a space full of comforting character, and that has a huge shelf, which goes through all the perimeter of the room’s curve wall, and displays books and objects full of story, design and meaning. Besides that, an amazing wine cellar is also a part of the layout, reinforcing the versatility of the Home Family.
The illumination, a chapter apart, was all projected by Maneco Quinderé, valuing art pieces and creating a cherishing and reflexive atmosphere. The floor, created especially for the space by Parquet Nobre, hugs the décor in a singular and sumptuous way. To finish, a curatorship with special pieces of brands like Dpot, Novo Ambiente and Galpão Teo, help compose a space, not only beautiful, but interesting, full of bossa and poetry, that propagates the affection and care ties by means of every detail.
