Inside

Inside is a home that does not reveal more than necessary to the outside world. It is restrained and minimalist, with clean lines and a monolithic geometry. At the same time, it feels open and inviting, thanks to warm tones and natural textures. The name of the house embodies its philosophy: true beauty and harmony unfold from within, in every detail and every element of the interior.

Concept

The idea behind the Inside house project, developed by the BEZMIRNO architectural studio, was to design a layout where, on a relatively compact plot, all functional zones and the building itself could accommodate the needs of a large family. The minimalist facade with a corten steel fence, the combination of natural stone and warm wood, and the large panoramic windows create modern architecture that is both simple and expressive, without unnecessary showiness. As a result, the two-story house is not only functional but also harmoniously integrated into the sunny Spanish surroundings.

Functionality

The architect of the house has incorporated every element that makes daily life comfortable and convenient.

On the property, there is a spacious swimming pool with sun loungers, a green inner courtyard with a garden, and parking for two cars.

The ground floor is centered around an open-plan kitchen and living area, featuring a large dining table for eight and a kitchen island for meal preparation. The double-height space enhances the sense of volume and light, while the living area opens directly onto the pool. This floor also includes a bedroom and a separate bathroom for guests.

The second floor serves as a private area, housing three bedrooms and a convenient home office. This layout makes the house both family-friendly and highly functional.

Challenges and solutions

The main challenge was to combine the compact size of the plot with the needs of a large family. To maintain a sense of openness, we analyzed various daily-life scenarios and divided the house into two zones: the ground floor as a shared space for gatherings and relaxation, and the second floor as a private area for seclusion.

This layout allows each family member to have their own corner while still making it easy to come together in the communal areas. The double-height space further enhances the sense of openness, filling the house with light and space, creating an environment where one can truly breathe freely.

Conclusion

Inside is a modern home that does not compete for attention but instead offers a sense of calm and belonging. Here, architecture works not for show, but for living: every element has its own character, and every space serves a clear purpose.

The use of natural materials, panoramic windows, and thoughtful layouts creates a cozy atmosphere and optimal natural lighting throughout all rooms. This is an example of how a two-story architectural project can combine simplicity of form with deep harmony, providing comfort and convenience for the entire family, creating a home that truly belongs to them.
