Duet of marble and wood.

The concept in combination of marble and wood was chosen because the main goal of the project was to create a cozy and bright space in which it would be equally comfortable to work and relax.

That is why we used a combination in which the wooden elements framing the space smoothly flow from the horizontal plane of the floor to the walls and ceiling.

The concept of this project is rooted in architectural minimalism, where space is defined by volumes, proportions, and lines rather than decorative elements. The apartment was conceived as a white canvas, onto which a sculptural core—containing the kitchen, storage, and owner bathroom—was inserted.

This core, clad in warm wood veneer and stone, organizes the layout and serves as the spatial anchor. Every surface, joint, and transition supports a calm, continuous flow—reinforced by invisible doors, integrated systems, and consistent materials. The design rejects ornament in favor of composition, where natural textures, soft light, and botanical installations behind glass evoke a sense of serene presence. It’s minimalism not as a style, but as a spatial philosophy.
