An existing private house in Speyer, extended with a new addition and comprehensively modernised — developed in collaboration with DOA Architekten. Beyond pure visualisation, interior architecture expertise shaped the design of the spaces: material concepts, spatial atmosphere and lighting were developed jointly.
Building on an architectural base concept, the interior design was refined through close collaboration. Material studies, colour concepts and lighting direction emerged from ongoing exchange with the architects. Photorealistic visualisations made every design decision tangible — from the existing building through to the new extension — allowing clients and architects to experience the spatial qualities long before construction began.
Design details that appeared unassuming on plan became visible in three-dimensional space. The close working relationship allowed interior architecture ideas to feed directly into the design process. Material variations and spatial relationships could be reviewed and refined together before moving into detailed planning.
The clients gained a clear understanding of the spatial concept and made their decisions with confidence. The visualisations allowed them to experience the design connections between the existing building and the new addition before work began — from material qualities to the lighting atmosphere in every individual room.
