In 2015, the former Post Office of Leeuwarden (NL) was given a second life as a
metropolitan Grand Café with 42 hotel rooms. During the renovation the history of the Post Office remained honored in the design. Now, the beautifully renovated Grand Hotel Post- Plaza gives you many reasons to visit.
Have a private dinner in the 'Garden room' where JSPR’s Cityscapes lights are shining bright (color: Gold, model: Suburban). The Cityscapes offer both decorative and functional lighting options that can be controlled independently. If you need functional light, the spotlights offer a powerful downlight and the (optional) inner ring illuminates the luminaire itself!
Of course you can also go for a bite in their gorgeous Grand Café that has gained
several nominations and awards for its design. For the hotel's Grand Café the Aurora collection was chosen, which has become a true JSPR classic. Crafted out of anodized aluminium these lighting rings are available in five different colors and sizes from 1 up to 7 meter! You will also find them in the meeting rooms (color: Champagne).
Last but not least, book a hotelroom and spend the night underneath our royal Crown chandeliers, as they hang in every room! (color: Gold)
