Grünebaumstraße · Mixed Use

Human life paths are dynamic and subject to cycles. It is therefore desirable to create forms of housing that can react flexibly to the needs of people and life situations. The "Grünebaumstraße" project, with a gross floor area of 4,700 m², takes this flexibility into account. All apartments can be connected and used for living and/or working. The building has been planned barrier-free and has become a house with a wide variety of tenants due to its changeability.
For example, the student flat share lives between a young family with a handicapped child in a wheelchair, the father has a small apartment added as an office, and an older couple who have sold their large single-family home.
The ground floor of the building is office space, but could be converted into 2-3 apartments tomorrow. All areas have generous window areas and loggias, dark corridors on the inside are taboo. Light, air and sun are guiding principles for the concept. The underground car park is reserved for the tenants, the outdoor parking spaces for visitors to the offices.
