In the residential outskirt of Treviso is located Turned House, a T-shaped residence with slightly rotated volumes. The idea of the project was to characterize the volumes through archetypal shapes with particular attention paid to the vertical connection.
The design reference is the Loosian logic of the Raumplan, recognizable not only in the slight misalignment of the volumes, but also in their effective formal cleanliness and in the centrifugal trend of the space.
The white elegant staircase absorbs the slippage of the floors and makes the slight rotation that offsets the floor plans perceptible.
The functionality which is translated into comfort and quality of life, constitutes the strong point of the studio’s research, strongly oriented to the high-end residential project, characterized by large and comfortable glass surfaces by the Duoxima wood-aluminum collection and fixed windows from the minimal Isos collection.
