Apartment Renovation in Cervia (Italy)

The project led the radical transformation of a typical 1970s apartment in Cervia (RA), which was originally characterized by a rigid, dark, and fragmented spatial layout. The main objective of the renovation was to dismantle the old period floor plan through the total demolition of interior partitions, creating a spacious, fluid, and naturally light-filled open-plan living area.

The new architectural configuration was conceived with maximum spatial flexibility in mind. On one side, the main core unfolds with the living room and master bedroom; on the other, the guest rooms are designed to transform, when needed, into a natural extension of the living area, changing the perception of the home according to current needs. The true added value of the project is its connection to the outdoors, where the large terrace has been transformed into an open-air room. The outdoor space has been enhanced with integrated rooftop greenery, a minimalist pergola, and timber decking, creating a private oasis of relaxation just a few steps from the sea.
